To empower poor and women economically and socially through organising networking establishing sustainable livelihood activities access to financial services and implement effectively and locally relevant poverty reduction measures and capacity building services. Leap Trust motive is to promote thrift and credit activities among the members of SHG/JLG and to improve their economic and social status.
The specific objects are:
To provide technical and expertise service to members in building their capacities and engage technical experts personnel therefore.
To conduct training programs for the members in managing their affairs.
To promote new entities FPO'S, social enterprises by subscription to equity or other suitable instruments in LEAP.
To secure fund from other funding sources and provide same as loan with or without interest to the members so as to enable them to take up income generation and livelihood programs.
To convene skill training ,meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops and exhibition to market support for achieving objectives of the LEAP.
LEAP aspires to be sustainable organisation empowering rural women economically and socially through establishing sustainable livelihood activities.

NABARD water conservation campaign
We coordinated NABARD Funded water conservation campaigns at 2017 in cuddalore
district 75 panchayats at kammapuram and vridhachalam blocks,Farmer club members,SHG members,general
public actively participated,during campaign preparing village level water resource mapping,
selection of village volunteers selection,village water bodies to be desilted, cleaning and weeding
of ponds had identified and reported to district administration through DDM.Importance of water
conservation, rain water harvesting system, Micro-irrigation system, resorting
to ground water recharging structures, Trees planting/ social foresting improved Agronomic practices
for improving water use efficiency had explained about government schemes for creating water related
structures and technologies( micro irrigation, sprinkler irrigation).Most of villages excellently
participated and take part in our activities while campaign awareness
like meeting,rally,pledge,resources maping and identifying action plan.

Women Empowerment-Skill Oriented Trainings and EDP
LEAP conducted EDP awareness campaigns SHG/JLG members in cuddalore districts annagramam,panruti,cuddalore,virudhachalam and kammapuram blocks over 2500 SHG/JHG members participated and benefitted LEAP propose to extend this service to other blocks in cuddalore and villupuram districts more beneficiaries should be covered in this program, with support of INDSETI cuddalore and villupuram.Skill oriented training for targeted peoples value addition in fruits and vegetables.

Financial inclusion programs
LEAP formed around 200 SHGs around 200 JLG total members around 3400 members.To promote thrift and credit activities to establish sustainable livelihood after providing skill training we provide credit linkage as microcredit from financial institutions and banks around 8.5crores to SHG/JLG members of LEAP trust.
